Kverneland SILOKING eTruck 2012: New benchmark for electric feed mixers
The self-propelled eTruck is the solution for farms with existing loading technology. The drive and mixing unit is 100% electric, which enables clean, emission-free and quiet feeding. The battery can be charged cost-effectively using the farm's own electricity from renewable energy sources.
Description
Electric power for impressive performance
The Kverneland SILOKING eTruck 2012 offers outstanding performance. The largest version with a capacity of 20 m³ leads the range and embodies the motto simple | intelligent | feeding. This concept combines pioneering technology and first-class feed processing.
The Kverneland SILOKING TruckLine e.0 eTruck 2012 sets new standards for sustainable feed preparation. As a 100% electric self-propelled feed mixer, it is the ideal solution for farms seeking clean, quiet and efficient feeding without compromise on performance.
The drive and mixing unit are fully electric, ensuring zero local emissions and very low noise levels. The lithium iron phosphate battery technology offers a long service life of 3,000 to 5,000 full charge cycles and is suitable for several hopper fillings per charge. Thanks to the standard Type 2 plug, the machine can be charged via any commercially available wallbox or directly from on-farm renewable energy sources such as solar, wind or biogas.
Available in capacities of 12, 16, 18 and 20 m³, the eTruck 2012 delivers impressive output. Except for the smallest model, all versions are equipped with two mixing augers, providing a total output of up to 80 kW for homogeneous mixing and efficient processing of round bales.
The proven 3-point chassis ensures outstanding manoeuvrability with extremely small turning circles. Dual-motor front axle drive allows each wheel to be driven individually, providing excellent traction on slopes and uneven ground. The infinitely variable electric drive offers driving speeds of up to 15 km/h in two speed ranges, making the eTruck perfectly suited to daily feeding routines.

Refuel with HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil)!
All Kverneland SILOKING SelfLine Diet Feeders, manufactured from 01.01.24 onwards, are approved for use with 100% renewable diesel: HVO. The use of HVO diesel helps reduce emissions in dairy farming.
HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) is a renewable diesel alternative produced from waste-based raw materials and has been proven to reduce CO2 emissions by 90%, compared to conventional diesel.
One of the major advantages of HVO is its close similarity to conventional diesel fuel, allowing it to be used directly in any mixing ratio without modifications to the machine.
Working closely with engine suppliers, HVO has been thoroughly tested and approved; as a result, all Kverneland SILOKING self-propelled diet feeders, manufactured from 01.01.24 onward, are fully approved for HVO use.
The Kverneland SILOKING TruckLine e.0 eTruck is a 100% electric self-propelled feed mixer for farms that want quiet, emission-free feeding with existing loading equipment. The electric drive powers both traction and mixing, replacing diesel operation in the daily feeding routine.
We use the electric concept to reduce operating noise, eliminate exhaust gases in and around the barn and lower energy costs where farm electricity or renewable energy is available. The eTruck still performs the core feeding tasks: mixing, transport and discharge in one compact machine.
On the Kverneland SILOKING TruckLine e.0 eTruck, the heavy battery is placed on the front drive axle. This is not only an energy source, but also an important part of the machine’s traction and stability concept.
The additional weight on the drive axle improves grip even when the mixing hopper is empty. Large front tyres carry the load and help maintain traction, including in winter conditions. Together with the compact chassis, this gives the electric machine stable handling in narrow barns, yards and sloped areas.
The Kverneland SILOKING TruckLine e.0 eTruck supports silent, planned feeding. Because feeding usually happens at fixed times, the machine can be charged outside the feeding window using a standard high-voltage connector.
This makes the feeding routine predictable and practical. During operation, the electric drive reduces noise and produces no exhaust gases, which benefits animals, operators and neighbours. SILOKING Data supports weighing and control, while the cab gives the driver a clear overview of machine functions, weighing information and rear visibility.
NIR - Near InfraRed Spectroscopy
Feeding based on reliable data
Precise control of the feed ration supports herd health, feed efficiency and consistent milk production.
Visual assessment cannot consistently guarantee maximum milk yield from every kilogram of dry matter.
With Kverneland SILOKING's NIR System mounted at the front of the self-propelled milling head, you can monitor feed composition, rather than relying on estimation.
It pays to take a close look at the quality of the basic forage, ideally at the time of silage removal. Kverneland SILOKING's solution to this task is Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS).
This technology, which is available as an option on all Kverneland SILOKING self-propelled machines, makes use of near-infrared light to analyse the dry matter of the forage components. It enables continuous, non-contact and non-destructive real-time analysis. (This equipment can also be retrofitted.)
As dry matter content can vary significantly within the silo, accurately calculated feed rations are essential.
An incorrectly calculated feed ration brings four major disadvantages:
- Lower feed efficiency
- Metabolic issues for the cow
- Varying milk yields
- Higher amount of feed residue
With Kverneland SILOKING SelfLine, you can avoid this expense, and have a great impact on your profitability.
The Kverneland SILOKING NIR System delivers reliable data for more accurate rations, greater control of herd health and consistent milk production. The NIR System offers particular advantages for silos with layers of feed of different origins and specific weights. As opposed to random dry matter measurement, the system can accurately adjust during feed removal based on the values measured in real time. It knows the dry matter content of the basic feed fed in and can adapt the planned target component.
Kverneland SILOKING DryScan®
Real-time dry matter measurement for self-propelled feed mixers.
Consistent feeding starts with a consistent ration. However, fluctuating dry matter levels in forage can make this difficult to achieve.
Kverneland SILOKING DryScan® provides an intelligent solution to this challenge. The system determines the dry matter content of the feed, in real time, during loading.
As a result, the fresh matter is automatically adjusted so that the ration is consistent every day, supporting stable rumen health, reducing feed waste and avoiding empty feed tables.
When combined with Kverneland SILOKING Feeding Management, feeding can be digitally planned, documented, monitored and optimised, delivering greater accuracy and reliability for modern dairy and livestock operations.
