Maximum efficiency for large farms with outstanding mixing performance
The Kverneland SILOKING SelfLine 4.0 System 1000+ is a self-propelled XXL feed mixer for large farms and inter-farm use. With hopper volumes from 25 to 32 m³ and an exceptionally small 11 m turning radius, it delivers fast mixing, high output and superb manoeuvrability.
Description
The Kverneland SILOKING SelfLine 4.0 System 1000+ has been developed for maximum efficiency in large-scale feeding operations. Hopper capacities from 25 to 32 m³ combined with a turning radius of only 11 m make the machine extremely manoeuvrable, even in confined farmyards and at the silo.
Long transport distances, heavy payloads and time-critical feeding routines demand a perfectly coordinated system. The conical mixing hopper ensures low power requirement, allowing the mixer to remain in operation even at full milling load – significantly reducing mixing times and diesel consumption.
Highlights
XXL hopper volumes from 25 to 32 m³
Turning radius of only 11 m on the largest model
3-axle chassis with intelligent 4-wheel drive
Low power requirement thanks to conical hopper geometry
Transport chain discharge system for consistent feed output
Spacious, comfortable cab with excellent visibility

Refuel with HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil)!
All Kverneland SILOKING SelfLine Diet Feeders, manufactured from 01.01.24 onwards, are approved for use with 100% renewable diesel: HVO. The use of HVO diesel helps reduce emissions in dairy farming.
HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) is a renewable diesel alternative produced from waste-based raw materials and has been proven to reduce CO2 emissions by 90%, compared to conventional diesel.
One of the major advantages of HVO is its close similarity to conventional diesel fuel, allowing it to be used directly in any mixing ratio without modifications to the machine.
Working closely with engine suppliers, HVO has been thoroughly tested and approved; as a result, all Kverneland SILOKING self-propelled diet feeders, manufactured from 01.01.24 onward, are fully approved for HVO use.
The Kverneland SILOKING SelfLine 4.0 System 1000+ is our XXL self-propelled mixer for very large farms, biogas plants and multi-site operations. With hopper capacities from 25 to 32 m³, it is built for high daily throughput and large feeding groups.
Despite the size, the machine remains highly manoeuvrable. The 3-axle chassis and compact turning behaviour allow the operator to work efficiently around silos, yards and feed tables. This gives large farms the capacity they need without making the feeding workflow unnecessarily slow or difficult.
The 3-axle chassis and drive concept on the Kverneland SILOKING SelfLine 4.0 System 1000+ are designed to distribute weight and maintain traction under heavy loads. The machine is built to carry large batches while keeping good stability and ground contact.
With driven axles and automatic torque transfer, power can be directed to the axle with better grip when conditions become difficult. This helps the operator work safely on slopes, wet yards or uneven surfaces. The result is a large self-propelled mixer that remains dependable in demanding farm logistics.
The Kverneland SILOKING SelfLine 4.0 System 1000+ is designed so milling and mixing can work efficiently at the same time. The conical mixing hopper reduces the power requirement of the mixing unit, allowing the mixer to continue running while the milling head is working under load.
We use this concept to shorten the total feeding cycle. Feed can be removed, conveyed and mixed without unnecessary waiting time, which helps large farms keep control of tight feeding schedules. The result is high output with consistent ration quality and efficient fuel use.
NIR - Near InfraRed Spectroscopy
Feeding based on reliable data
Precise control of the feed ration supports herd health, feed efficiency and consistent milk production.
Visual assessment cannot consistently guarantee maximum milk yield from every kilogram of dry matter.
With Kverneland SILOKING's NIR System mounted at the front of the self-propelled milling head, you can monitor feed composition, rather than relying on estimation.
It pays to take a close look at the quality of the basic forage, ideally at the time of silage removal. Kverneland SILOKING's solution to this task is Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS).
This technology, which is available as an option on all Kverneland SILOKING self-propelled machines, makes use of near-infrared light to analyse the dry matter of the forage components. It enables continuous, non-contact and non-destructive real-time analysis. (This equipment can also be retrofitted.)
As dry matter content can vary significantly within the silo, accurately calculated feed rations are essential.
An incorrectly calculated feed ration brings four major disadvantages:
- Lower feed efficiency
- Metabolic issues for the cow
- Varying milk yields
- Higher amount of feed residue
With Kverneland SILOKING SelfLine, you can avoid this expense, and have a great impact on your profitability.
The Kverneland SILOKING NIR System delivers reliable data for more accurate rations, greater control of herd health and consistent milk production. The NIR System offers particular advantages for silos with layers of feed of different origins and specific weights. As opposed to random dry matter measurement, the system can accurately adjust during feed removal based on the values measured in real time. It knows the dry matter content of the basic feed fed in and can adapt the planned target component.
Kverneland SILOKING DryScan®
Real-time dry matter measurement for self-propelled feed mixers.
Consistent feeding starts with a consistent ration. However, fluctuating dry matter levels in forage can make this difficult to achieve.
Kverneland SILOKING DryScan® provides an intelligent solution to this challenge. The system determines the dry matter content of the feed, in real time, during loading.
As a result, the fresh matter is automatically adjusted so that the ration is consistent every day, supporting stable rumen health, reducing feed waste and avoiding empty feed tables.
When combined with Kverneland SILOKING Feeding Management, feeding can be digitally planned, documented, monitored and optimised, delivering greater accuracy and reliability for modern dairy and livestock operations.
