Power, precision and comfort for high-output feeding operations
The Kverneland SILOKING SelfLine 4.0 Premium is a high-volume self-propelled feed mixer for larger farms and demanding feeding routines. With mixing volumes from 15 to 22 m³, long milling arm reach and powerful Volvo engines, it delivers exceptional output and efficiency.
Description
The Kverneland SILOKING SelfLine 4.0 Premium is the ideal solution for farms with high output groups and intensive daily feeding schedules. With mixing volumes from 15 m³ to 22 m³, it offers impressive capacity combined with outstanding manoeuvrability.
All Premium models can remove feed at heights of up to 5 metres using the long milling arm. Power is supplied as standard by a 129 kW (175 hp) Volvo 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine, with an optional 160 kW (218 hp) version available for demanding operations.
Thanks to the manoeuvrable 3-point chassis, the SelfLine 4.0 Premium achieves a minimal turning radius. From model 2215-22 onwards, independent wheel suspension is standard, ensuring smooth and comfortable travel even on poor road surfaces.

Refuel with HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil)!
All Kverneland SILOKING SelfLine Diet Feeders, manufactured from 01.01.24 onwards, are approved for use with 100% renewable diesel: HVO. The use of HVO diesel helps reduce emissions in dairy farming.
HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) is a renewable diesel alternative produced from waste-based raw materials and has been proven to reduce CO2 emissions by 90%, compared to conventional diesel.
One of the major advantages of HVO is its close similarity to conventional diesel fuel, allowing it to be used directly in any mixing ratio without modifications to the machine.
Working closely with engine suppliers, HVO has been thoroughly tested and approved; as a result, all Kverneland SILOKING self-propelled diet feeders, manufactured from 01.01.24 onward, are fully approved for HVO use.
The Kverneland SILOKING SelfLine 4.0 Premium is our high-capacity self-propelled mixer/feeder for larger farms and feeding operations with higher daily output requirements. With hopper volumes from 15 m³ to 22 m³, it gives farmers the capacity needed to prepare and distribute larger rations efficiently.
The long milling arm allows feed to be removed from silos up to approximately 5 metres high, depending on the machine specification. This makes the SelfLine 4.0 Premium well suited to farms with larger silage clamps or higher feed storage areas, where loading height and daily throughput are important.
We combine this loading height with a powerful, efficient drive and a compact 3-point chassis. This gives the machine strong feeding performance while keeping it manoeuvrable around the farmyard, at the silo and along the feed table.
The retractable rear pusher on the Kverneland SILOKING SelfLine 4.0 Premium helps you place feed accurately, even in confined feeding areas. From the operator’s seat, you can extend the pusher into the required position, also during discharge.
This gives you more control when feeding along narrow tables, close to troughs or in buildings where space is limited. Instead of needing extra passes or manual correction, you can guide the feed closer to where it is needed.
For daily feeding, this helps keep the feed table cleaner and makes the ration easier for the animals to reach. It is especially useful on farms with narrow barn layouts, difficult-to-reach troughs or feeding areas where accurate placement matters.
*Only available on the Kverneland SILOKING SelfLine 4.0 Premium 2215-22 models
The independent wheel suspension on the Kverneland SILOKING SelfLine 4.0 Premium 2215-22 gives you a smoother and more stable driving experience on poor roads, uneven yards and rough farm tracks.
When you move between the silo, yard, feed table or different farm locations, the suspension helps the machine keep stable contact with the ground. This reduces shocks through the chassis and cab, giving the operator a calmer and more comfortable working day.
Together with large tyres and a generous steering angle, the independent wheel suspension improves mobility in demanding farm conditions. You get better driving comfort, more stable transport and less stress on the machine during daily use.
NIR - Near InfraRed Spectroscopy
Feeding based on reliable data
Precise control of the feed ration supports herd health, feed efficiency and consistent milk production.
Visual assessment cannot consistently guarantee maximum milk yield from every kilogram of dry matter.
With Kverneland SILOKING's NIR System mounted at the front of the self-propelled milling head, you can monitor feed composition, rather than relying on estimation.
It pays to take a close look at the quality of the basic forage, ideally at the time of silage removal. Kverneland SILOKING's solution to this task is Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS).
This technology, which is available as an option on all Kverneland SILOKING self-propelled machines, makes use of near-infrared light to analyse the dry matter of the forage components. It enables continuous, non-contact and non-destructive real-time analysis. (This equipment can also be retrofitted.)
As dry matter content can vary significantly within the silo, accurately calculated feed rations are essential.
An incorrectly calculated feed ration brings four major disadvantages:
- Lower feed efficiency
- Metabolic issues for the cow
- Varying milk yields
- Higher amount of feed residue
With Kverneland SILOKING SelfLine, you can avoid this expense, and have a great impact on your profitability.
The Kverneland SILOKING NIR System delivers reliable data for more accurate rations, greater control of herd health and consistent milk production. The NIR System offers particular advantages for silos with layers of feed of different origins and specific weights. As opposed to random dry matter measurement, the system can accurately adjust during feed removal based on the values measured in real time. It knows the dry matter content of the basic feed fed in and can adapt the planned target component.
Kverneland SILOKING DryScan®
Real-time dry matter measurement for self-propelled feed mixers.
Consistent feeding starts with a consistent ration. However, fluctuating dry matter levels in forage can make this difficult to achieve.
Kverneland SILOKING DryScan® provides an intelligent solution to this challenge. The system determines the dry matter content of the feed, in real time, during loading.
As a result, the fresh matter is automatically adjusted so that the ration is consistent every day, supporting stable rumen health, reducing feed waste and avoiding empty feed tables.
When combined with Kverneland SILOKING Feeding Management, feeding can be digitally planned, documented, monitored and optimised, delivering greater accuracy and reliability for modern dairy and livestock operations.
