Designed and tested for maximum versatility, reliability and strength, the Arcadia precision weed harrow is suited for mechanical weed control in row crops, cereals, and vegetables, including crops established on beds or ridges. With this new solution, the Arcadia enables both blind weeding at early growth stages and effective weeding of already developed crops.
Efficient Weeding and Agronomic Benefits
The Arcadia precision weed harrow removes weeds by uprooting and bringing them to the surface, where they dry out. This approach makes regrowth virtually impossible, even with rhizome weeds known for their resilience.
Beyond weed control, the precision weed harrow promotes a crumbling and levelling effect that improves soil structure. By cracking surface crusts formed after rainfall, it supports seed emergence and boosts water and air circulation in the topsoil. These actions stimulate soil biology and physico-chemical processes, increasing nitrogen absorption and accelerating mineralisation and biomass development.
Performance meets Precision: Crop Respect at its Core
Key to the Arcadia’s outstanding performance is its fully independent adjustment of tine pressure and angle of aggressiveness. Hydraulic control from the tractor cab allows on-the-go pressure adaptation, with real-time visual indicators ensuring ease of use. The aggressiveness of the tine angle is finely tuned by adjusting the height of the gauge wheels, providing tailored settings for aggressive or gentle cultivation.
“This dual-setting system extends the working window for the Arcadia precision weed harrow,” explains Maxime Georges, Product Manager. “It allows operations during more sensitive crop stages, applying gentle tine angles with sufficient pressure to weed effectively even on hard soils.”
The Arcadia features a wide working pressure range from 500g to 5kg per tine. A dedicated system is under testing to extend this pressure range accuracy from 0g to 5kg to be compatible with the sensitive crop stage, when even the tine weight is too important.
420 tines (8mm diameter) in seven rows and at 2.9cm tine spacing ensure residue clearance and consistent weeding with optimal coverage. Each tine is equipped with an individual spring that maintains uniform pressure regardless of terrain. The kinematic design preserves the set tine pressure whether on ridges or in furrows.
A curved tine design and automatic tine lift system protects crops at headlands, while an under-beam clearance of up to 55cm allows efficient weeding in ridged fields.

Versatility in Every Detail
The Arcadia precision weed harrow will be first launched with a 12.2 m working width, with additional models to follow. The adjustable gauge wheel position ensures compatibility with various row crops and ridge configurations. A modular gauge wheel setup, from 4 to 10 wheels, enables a balance between low impact and high stability. Track eradicators are also available to prevent weed regrowth in tractor wheel marks. Two kinds of tines will be available, standard or aggressive to suit every soil condition. These tines are quickly exchangeable.
A 5-section frame, combined with well-distributed wheels, ensures precise ground contour following and an even working depth. With a weight from 2.2 tonnes, the 12.2m model is light enough for use with mid-sized tractors, minimising soil compaction while ensuring adequate downforce.
Looking ahead, seeding solutions for cover crops and legumes are in development to allow combined weeding and seeding operations - further boosting farm efficiency through operational synergy.
Ready for the Road
For transport, the Arcadia folds into a compact wallet system using a three-section format achieving a transport width under 3 metres, ensuring safe and compliant road transit. Equipped with road lighting and warning panels, the unit is CAT. 3 3-point mounted with a close centre of gravity, reducing lift requirements and enhancing stability.
A limited edition will be available in 2026, and the full series is planned for end-2026.
