New shear bolt legs
The new shear bolt legs are stronger than ever. Their new design enables a shear cut of the bolts under a pressure as high as 5000 kg. No stretch of the bolt which could lead to a possible deformation of the leg under pressure. The new design ensures that the shear bolt can be instantly replaced in an easy manner which guarantees a consistent ploughing quality. Smart, spare bolts are handily stored on the head stock.
“4P” skimmers (4 Positions)
Well adjusted skimmers are crucial in many respects. As every farmer knows, skimmers that are set up in the correct way are making the ploughing result. However, due to the difficult adjustment of skimmers, this is often not done when adjusting the ploughing depth for example. As already introduced on the auto-reset models back to 2019, the central adjustable skimmers bring convenience in quickly changing the skimmer working depth to always have the optimal result (a).
Kverneland «4P» new generation skimmers offer more than the adjustment of the working depth. They enable ploughing in any soil conditions, residues, and speed via easy and quick adjustments. Prevent stone blockages or favor a gentle cut of a grass land by changing the angle of the skimmer via 2 excentric bolts only (b). Adapt to the speed of operations by moving the skimmer more or less forward (c). For specific trash and soil conditions, just set the skimmer to «More On-land work» via a lateral repositioning (d).
Disc coulters, plain or notched, 18” (45cm), 20” (50cm), 22” (55cm) complete the offer of manure and maize skimmers plus trash boards with the possibility of skimmer extensions.
Kverneland hydraulic wheels uniqueness
A new range of wheels is available for the Kverneland new generation shear bolt ploughs: rear and frame mounted wheels, mechanical and hydraulic. Keeping in mind that Kverneland aims at easing the working life of farmers, it is made easy to change the working depth. To keep the settings after reversal at headlands is unique.
Optimum maneuverability and extra safety during transport
Kverneland is the inventor of the Trailer Transport Solution (TTS). It offers the possibility to maneuver safely in narrow passes or roundabouts. It also protects the head stock from unnecessarily stress during transport. The Kverneland plough behaves just like a trailer behind a tractor. The pivot point of tractor and implement combination is located in the middle. Therefore, there is no tilting out. The TTS is available on the models Kverneland 3300 B Variomat, 3400 B Variomat and 3500 B Variomat i-Plough®.
Details that count
Novelties for more comfort:
• Hydraulic handles for effortless grab. Easily identifiable. Organized setting
• Handily stored spare shear bolts
• A very visible indicator of the working width
Kverneland new generation shear bolt Variomat® ploughs
When the same features apply to each model of this new range, the Kverneland 3500 B iPlough® stands out with its Isobus functions. The most essential settings are done from the tractor cabin: highlight in this is that the driver can switch from In-furrow ploughing to On-land ploughing with one finger tip. Other functionalities like FURROWcontrol® for straight furrows following an A-B line, bring an extra level of performances and comfort. Likewise, the Kverneland Sync enables seamless data transfer for optimal machine management and performance tracking.
Kverneland Auto-line system
The Kverneland Variomat® is the most reliable and user friendly system on the market. It allows the ideal match between the soil conditions, the plough and the tractor for the optimal output. When changing the working width on a Kverneland Variomat® plough, there is no need to adjust the pulling line. With the straight forward design of all Kverneland Variomat® ploughs, the plough always works straight which ensures that ploughing performances are maintained. The Kverneland Auto-line is not added to the plough. It is the DNA of the Kverneland ploughs.
Hence the new range of Kverneland shear bolt ploughs have the correct pulling line at any time. It bears a number of benefits such as preventing side pulls and unnecessary high landside pressure. It ensures a quality and efficient ploughing with less fuel consumption. At the same time, the life time of wearing parts is extended.
The 1st furrow flexibility: it can be adjusted independently from the working width of the plough. Hence, one can choose a specific working width for hilly conditions compensations. When activating the Variomat®, the first furrow width keeps its setting in respect to the plough working width.
Efficient daily maintenance
Kverneland ploughs are designed to optimise efficiency: just a few nipples to grease regularly. Likewise, the Variomat® system is maintenance free with non wearing heat treated cones and bushes.
