Designed for high reliability and easy use
The Kverneland Tersus range targets demanding users, highlighting durability, reliability, and ease of operation. It features a streamlined headstock, a central body gearbox with a flexible cardan shaft, a top transmission and direct side-belt tensioning for stable, intensive use. Practical design aids quick adjustment, cleaning, and maintenance.
Optimised for grass, crop residues, and biomass, the Kverneland Tersus 4000 flail chopper delivers clean cuts and even residue. A robust rotor with durable flails operates smoothly under high loads, supported by balanced construction and maintenance-free ground-contour roller bearings for longevity and low-maintenance operation.
Reinforced drivetrain components minimise the risk of breakdowns, reducing downtime.
The Kverneland Tersus 4000 comes in 3 variants of different working widths, covering a wide spectrum of working requirements:
Kverneland Tersus 4023 – 2.35 m working width, suited to compact and versatile operations.
Kverneland Tersus 4028 – 2.80 m working width, combining capacity and maneuverability and staying within the overall 3.00m transport width.
Kverneland Tersus 4032 – 3.25 m working width, designed for high-output and large-area coverage.
All models are suitable for tractors from 80 to 170 hp and are equipped with a 500 mm hydraulic side shift as standard, enabling precise work along field edges, headlands and obstacles.
