Kverneland Introduces Key Features to e-drill Range More Flexibility, Connectivity and User Comfort

Kverneland introduces new features to its e-drill range, further enhancing flexibility, connectivity, and ease of use. The latest upgrades include variable row distances, full integration of Kverneland Sync, and a new seed flow sensor. All these new features are advancing seeding performance to meet the growing demands of modern farming.

Proven CX-II coulters now with clamped brackets – greater flexibility in row spacing

The new e-drill models now feature the proven CX-II coulters with clamped brackets, allowing farmers to adapt the machine to their specific cropping systems.
“With the flexible coulter brackets, the farmer can adjust the row spacing to his individual farming systems. Moreover, it allows future adjustments to any new regulation and legislation. From factory, we deliver a pre-set row distance of 12.5cm, 15.0cm or 25cm,” explains Sebastian Koers, Product Manager Seeding Technology at Kverneland.

Kverneland now also offers the CX-II coulters without following press wheels. This is especially suitable for lighter soil, reducing the machine weight and lifting capacity needed.

Kverneland Sync – the implement gateway

The integration of Kverneland Sync into the e-drill range marks a step forward in smart farming. With Kverneland Sync, the seed drill is always connected to Kverneland’s online services. Farmers gain real-time insight into machine performance with data on working speed, seed rates (seeds/m²), and more.

Key benefits include:

  • Remote diagnostics via Kverneland ServiceCentre to minimize downtime
  • Task management and reporting for transparent, data-driven decisions
  • Geofencing and theft protection with an integrated location accumulator

Whether managing a single farm or a large cooperative, Kverneland Sync improves traceability, uptime, and operational efficiency.

Seed Flow Sensor – real-time precision

To further increase accuracy, the updated e-drill includes seed flow sensors. This feature enables constant monitoring of seed flow, ensuring consistent application across the field and helps to avoid costly unsown areas.
Kverneland continues to combine practical design with digital innovation.
These latest features reinforce Kverneland’s commitment to helping farmers boost productivity, reduce input waste, and stay connected with Smart Farming.
