Agriculture is constantly evolving. New technologies, changing demands, and the need for sustainable solutions are shaping the future of farming. At Kverneland, we know that innovation in agriculture is not only driven by technology, but also by the people behind it.

Encouraging more women to explore careers in agriculture, engineering, and agri technology is an important step in building a diverse and forward-looking industry. By sharing knowledge, highlighting role models and creating supportive environments, we can help young women see the opportunities available within modern farming and agricultural machinery.

For International Women’s Day, colleagues from across the Kverneland organisation shared their perspectives by answering one question: How will you support the next generation of women?

Their responses highlight the many ways individuals can make a difference, from mentoring and knowledge sharing to encouraging confidence and creating workplaces where ideas are welcomed and achievements are recognised.

I will support the next generation of women by being approachable and helping to create an environment where honest guidance is offered, ideas are heard, and achievements are celebrated.

Answer:
Supporting the next generation of women isn’t a single action; it’s a continuous effort to create systems where girls and women can thrive without limitation.  Supporting the next generation of women through community leadership means helping girls and women become decision-makers, organizers, and changemakers at the local level, where real impact begins.
