Kverneland Onyx 4092 F – 12 rows with distribution head and f-drill front hopper for the application of fertiliser
Following the acquisition of French mechanical weeding specialist BCT in early 2023, Kverneland announced the development of these integrated solutions during Agritechinca 2023. Previously available only via dealer assembly, these features are now delivered directly from the factory - ensuring consistent quality, time savings, and streamlined support.

Factory-Fitted a-drill Seedbox on Onyx Cultivators
The Kverneland a-drill seedbox is now available pre-installed on Onyx inter-row cultivators. Designed primarily for sowing cover crops between rows, it comes with multiple configurations to meet various farming needs:
- 200L or 500L hopper capacity
- Electric or hydraulic distribution
- Seed outlets positioned either in front of the tines or at the rear, paired with a finger harrow
Each setup includes a safety-compliant access platform and steps for safe and easy filling, enhancing both usability and operator safety.
F-drill Distribution Heads – Seeding and Fertilising Flexibility
Moreover, Kverneland is now offering factory-fitted f-drill distribution heads on Onyx cultivators. These systems support both cover crop sowing and precision fertilisation. Depending on the application and customer requirements, configurations include:
- Seeding outlets positioned at the front of the tines or at the rear, on the finger harrow
- Fertiliser outlets mounted on lateral tines for targeted placement alongside the crop
With compatibility for the specific front hoppers (single or dual inlets, standard or large diameter), working widths of up to 12 meters, and various row setups, Kverneland offers the right configuration for any requirement - all available factory-assembled for immediate use.

For existing equipment, these comprehensive seeding and fertilising solutions are also offered as retrofit kits, providing flexibility for farmers looking to upgrade their current Onyx systems.
